Where to Route a Warrant Question
Use the issuing court first. The Warrant Lookup page explains the difference between OSCN, the Okemah portal, municipal contacts, records requests, and service questions.
- District-court criminal or traffic matter: Okfuskee County Court Clerk, 918-623-0525.
- Okemah city citation: Municipal Court, 502 West Broadway, 918-623-1050.
- Boley matter: Town Hall, 309 Pecan Street, 918-667-9790, then ask for the current clerk.
- Weleetka matter: the state CLEET listing gives a police contact lead at 120 West 8th and 405-786-2272; verify its current role.
- Paden or Castle: use the citation or a current official municipal source; no verified contact was located in the sweep.
Okfuskee County Court Clerk
The Court Clerk is the records point for the District Court of the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District. Judicial Branch material describes the office as keeping felony, misdemeanor, traffic, family, probate, juvenile, and related records and issuing legal process. The public contact material lists 918-623-0525 at the Okfuskee County Courthouse, 209 North 3rd Street, Okemah.
Ask whether the case is in District Court, whether the docket shows a current warrant, what the next date is, and whether a bond, reset, recall, or appearance process applies. OSCN is a useful lead, but the Court Clerk confirms the official file.
Okemah Municipal Court
Okemah Municipal Court is the route for city ordinance and city-traffic records. The documented city contact is 502 West Broadway, Okemah, with 918-623-1050. The city’s vendor portal searches violations and citations. It is not a countywide warrant list.
Ask whether a result is a balance, FTA, warrant, payment, reset, or judge matter. Ask how the court records recall and when the portal updates. The Okemah Police Department is listed at the same address with 918-623-1234 for city-police routing. Police service and court status are separate questions.
Current Sheriff Information Needs Verification
The research did not locate an official current Sheriff warrant page or public warrant desk. Older directory material lists 209 North 3rd Street and 918-623-0481. More recent public references point to 1700 John Fulbright Loop and 918-623-1120 or 918-623-1122. These entries are not reconciled.
Use the courthouse or a current official county notice to verify the address, phone, hours, and whether the question belongs with administration, jail, dispatcher, or service personnel. The Sheriff’s historical role is serving District Court process. It is not the issuing court.
Records Requests and Access
The Oklahoma Open Records Act, 51 O.S. §§24A.1 through 24A.31, supplies the public request framework. A narrow request should identify the requester’s own case or citation, date range, specific record, delivery choice, and preferred contact. Ask for an exact fee estimate before paid copies.
Okemah’s official form asks for purpose, record description, date range, requester type, contact fields, and delivery instructions. It says not to send payment before an exact notice. A request is useful for a copy or history, while a direct call is better for immediate status.
What This Contact Page Cannot Do
No message to this private resource can confirm a warrant, update a docket, guarantee a bond, schedule a hearing, or replace an attorney. Do not send a Social Security number, license number, date of birth, case screenshot, or private address through an unverified channel.
For the local routes, use Okemah, Boley, Weleetka, Paden, or Castle. Each page states what was found and what still needs confirmation.
